Mt. Zion Baptist Church is pleased to announce Aaron Frasier as its new pastor. Frasier, a native of Madisonville, Kentucky, started at Mt. Zion on Jan. 20. He is excited about leading the congregation and seeing what God has in store in Chula, Georgia.
“I am very privileged to have gotten a pastoral job right after graduation from seminary,” said Frasier, who earned his Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. “The Lord provided for me in a special way. I am humbled and do not deserve the way He has made His face to shine on me. He is so good.”
Prior to attending Southern, Frasier earned his bachelors in religious studies at Western Kentucky University.
Frasier and wife, Adrienne, a Tifton, Georgia native, married on May 27, 2017.
“We’ve really enjoyed being in Chula. Louisville was very fast paced with heavy traffic. Chula has been a breath of fresh air and I’ve enjoyed being able to go outside at night and look at the stars and it not be really loud outside,” Frasier said. “Mt. Zion has been great. We’ve been very well received, and they’ve been very kind to us. I have a great congregation.”
Mt. Zion’s Sunday morning schedule begins with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m. Sunday night activities for children, youth and adults begins at 6 p.m.
